Eduardo Miranda-Garcia, 20, appeared in Sauk County Circuit Court Thursday to face a count of second-degree sexual assault with the use of force.

Lake Delton police report Miranda-Garcia was an employee of the Pizzeria Uno Restaurant and he pushed a woman into a bathroom and sexually assaulted her after hours early Tuesday morning.

When he was questioned, Miranda-Garcia said he considered the sex act consensual, according to police, but he also admitted she said no and tried to push him away.

In court Thursday, Miranda-Garcia was informed of the charges against him and a $20,000 cash bond was required for his release. He continues to be held at the Sauk County Law Enforcement Center jail, jail staff said.
